Description
Hatori Hanzo is a member of the U.N. Providential Government Security Council and serves as a secondary antagonist in the story. On the surface, he presents himself as a polite and composed individual, but this demeanor masks a deeply cruel and sadistic nature.
His primary motivation is a simple yet profound amusement derived from causing widespread pain and suffering on a massive scale. This desire for chaos leads him to become a willing accomplice to Gennai Hoshimiya, actively aiding in Gennai's plan to bring about a Second Great Destruction. Hanzo's role in this scheme includes kidnapping Sena Hoshimiya to further their objectives, actions that result in the obliteration of entire cities when plans go awry.
After Gennai dies, Sena falsely claims she intends to trigger a new Great Destruction out of her own sadistic misanthropy. Impressed and admiring her apparent cruelty, Hanzo immediately shifts his allegiance to become her right-hand man. He assists her in overthrowing the government and works to stop the protagonists from preventing God from consuming the world, all driven by his amusement at the prospect of mass agony.
Following the final confrontation, which concludes with the Hoshimiya siblings vanishing and all supernatural Orders losing their powers, Hanzo disappears. With no one left to provide him cover or protection, he becomes a fugitive. No information is available regarding any significant development or change in his character, nor about any specific notable abilities he may possess.
