TV-Series
Description
Leiur Darâhim is an antagonist who appears in the third season of the series, where she serves as one of the four Autoscorers created by the alchemist Carol Malus Dienheim. Her formal classification is XMH_006, and she is a life-sized animate doll, or Autoscorer, designed to be used for a variety of purposes, including serving as Carol's personal guard. She is the first Autoscorer to be introduced in the season and is also the last of them to be killed.
In terms of personality, Leiur carries herself with a cool and collected demeanor. She frequently uses the phrase "I sober is not," which reflects her somewhat detached and idiosyncratic way of speaking. Her combat style is notably fluid and rhythmic, characterized by movements resembling jazz dance and break dancing. This approach allows her to maneuver across walls and the ground with impressive balance, making her highly mobile and difficult to pin down. Among her fellow Autoscorers, she stands out for the genuine care and concern she shows for her team, in contrast to the more confrontational nature of Garie, the childish obliviousness of Micha, and the relentless determination of Phara.
Leiur's primary motivation is to fulfill the will of her creator, Carol, and to protect her creator's objectives. She is deeply loyal to Carol and to her fellow Autoscorers, viewing them as something akin to family. This loyalty drives her actions throughout the story, as she engages the Symphogear wielders in battle to further Carol's plans.
Her role in the narrative is that of a recurring and formidable opponent for the main characters, particularly for the Symphogear user Chris Yukine. She first appears alongside another Autoscorer, Phara, while the group is pursuing the defector Elfnein. In her initial encounter with Chris, Leiur uses her unusual fighting style to engage her, though she is forced to retreat with assistance from her little sister Autoscorer. Over the course of the season, she continues to clash with the heroes, serving as an escort for Carol during key operations. She meets her end while defending Carol, fighting against multiple Symphogear users before being destroyed.
Leiur has a notable relationship with her little sister Autoscorer, who is physically larger and possesses immense destructive power. The two frequently fight in tandem, employing combination tactics that make them a dangerous pair on the battlefield. Leiur also shares a close bond with the other three Autoscorers, and her protectiveness of them is a defining aspect of her character.
Leiur's most distinctive ability is her use of thrown coins as projectile weapons. She can change the size of these coins, allowing her to adjust their power and impact, turning them into effective artillery or tonfa-like striking tools. This coin-based combat gives her the capacity to engage enemies at any distance, and she uses it to harass opponents and control the flow of battle. Her mobility and balance, combined with her dance-like movements, further enhance her combat effectiveness, allowing her to strike from unexpected angles and evade attacks with ease.
