TV-Series
Description
Geronimo is the alias of an E-Gene Holder whose real name is Lemon, though she is also referred to by the nickname Princess. She serves as the capable and decisive leader of the First Platoon, an elite unit within the organization DOGOO that is dedicated to combating otherworldly creatures known as Evolutionary Invasion Objects. Her E-Gene is the genetic memory and spirit of the famous 19th-century Apache leader Geronimo, from whom she derives her formidable combat abilities.
In terms of personality, Geronimo presents as a confident and pragmatic young woman with a noticeably tomboyish demeanor. She is sharp-witted and skilled at making deductions, often formulating effective strategies for her platoon during battle. Despite her leadership role, she is not without a playful and somewhat sadistic streak. She particularly enjoys teasing her comrade Gaudi whenever the opportunity arises, and she can be outright cold towards him. Her relationships within the First Platoon are clearly defined; she works in close coordination with her teammates Cyx and Gaudi, relying on Cyx's motorcycle for transport and Gaudi's power to create pathways, while she serves as the primary offensive payload. She is noted to be very close with Cyx. Geronimo has a distinct dislike for cold environments, and her humor and temperament can sour dramatically when she is in a chilly location, often taking out her irritability on those nearby, most frequently the unlucky Gaudi. She holds a personal code or rule that strictly forbids the use of her E-Gene weapon on human beings, a principle she adheres to even when her own life is in danger. She also has a habit of ending her sentences with a verbal tic, a light "ne~".
Geronimo's primary motivation is the successful execution of her missions to destroy the Evolutionary Invasion Objects. As a leader, she is dedicated to the protection of humanity from these monsters and commands her platoon with efficiency and quick, decisive action. She does not hesitate to make tough calls in the field and possesses the wisdom to recognize when a retreat is necessary against an overwhelmingly dangerous foe. Her role in the story is that of a veteran and reliable field commander, often working alongside the newly formed Second Platoon. She is a straightforward combat fighter, and her competitive nature is on display when she engages in a contest with Jack the Ripper from the Second Platoon to see who can eliminate the most enemies, demonstrating a Legolas and Gimli-style rivalry in the heat of battle.
Throughout the series, Geronimo displays a strong sense of responsibility as the leader of the First Platoon. Her tactical acumen and the complementary teamwork she has developed with Cyx and Gaudi are well-established, making them a highly effective unit. A notable aspect of her development is the transformation she undergoes when she activates a power known as Geronimo Mode Change: Ghost Protocol. In this state, the bestial E-gene inside her runs rampant, causing a significant shift in her personality. Her fighting style becomes more berserker-like and she becomes even more wild, annihilating her enemies with a ferocious intensity that is unleashed in short, devastating bursts. This power-up showcases the more dangerous and untamed aspect of her inherited warrior spirit.
Her notable abilities, as an E-Gene Holder of Geronimo, center on her unique weapon. She is able to materialize a large, two-sided tomahawk, also described as a labrys or battle axe, that manifests on her right arm. This weapon is not bound by normal weight, as she wields it with remarkable speed and freedom of movement, even in midair. She uses the tomahawk to devastating effect, capable of easily slicing through the tough hides of Invasion Objects, smashing through solid structures, and shattering the ground with her strikes. Her fighting style is aggressive and direct, often accompanied by wild battle cries that echo the head-on charging tactics of the historical Geronimo. She utilizes Cyx's motorcycle for high-speed mobility across the battlefield, preparing her strikes from the rear of the vehicle while Gaudi creates the necessary terrain for them to traverse. Her ultimate technique, the Ghost Protocol, transforms her into a rampaging powerhouse, exchanging her usual tactical leadership for sheer, overwhelming destructive force, during which a humorous and zany visual of a smoking pipe emerges from her tomahawk.
