Description
Jashin-chan is a demonic lamia whose humanoid upper body contrasts with a coiled, serpentine lower half in vibrant green. Her long blonde hair frames deep blue eyes, and her attire shifts with context: sometimes relying on her hair for modesty, other times donning a white blouse with a collar bow, a blue skirt, and brown boots. Later iterations introduce a red cape edged in white, three crimson hearts at its center, and a hood shaped with feline-like ears. At beaches, her hair twists into playful ponytails.
Summoned from Hell by Yurine Hanazono, Jashin-chan obsessively schemes to assassinate her summoner, aiming to reclaim her infernal home. Each failed attempt invites Yurine’s violent reprisals, injuries from which Jashin-chan heals instantly via a cranial orb—a mark of her status as a "chosen devil" granting immortality.
Her personality blends selfishness, gluttony, and arrogance, often exploiting allies like Medusa while disregarding morals. Yet beneath this abrasive exterior lies a tsundere-like sincerity, craving friends’ approval and masking genuine care behind sharp words. Chronic incompetence undermines her plans, ensuring frequent comedic failures.
Relationships mirror her contradictions: she dominates Medusa with emotional manipulation yet openly depends on her, oscillating between cruelty and vulnerability. Minos counters her antics with unyielding strength, fostering a rare balanced dynamic. Interactions with Yurine, Persephone II, and angels further shape her reluctant growth.
In battle, she launches a "Jashin-chan Dropkick," hurling herself airborne via tail propulsion to strike foes. Regeneration ensures survival, while latent talents—unconscious magic circle creation, dice manipulation, eye-fired lasers, and fusion with flora or fauna—add unpredictability.
Her narrative weaves selfishness and bungling ambition with flickers of loyalty, all tempered by evolving bonds and a resilient, if chaotic, will to endure.
