Description
Pekora is an angel stranded on Earth after losing her halo, preventing her return to Heaven or detection by celestial forces. This strands her in a park cardboard box, plagued by relentless hunger; stomach growls are a constant auditory motif. Her past involved serving as a demon-hunting angel before exile.

On Earth, Pekora harbors deep reservations about humans involved with demons, particularly the witch Yurine Hanazono. Despite this, she reluctantly attends Yurine's gatherings and accepts food when desperate, often expressing sorrow afterward for succumbing. Her former subordinate, Poporon, arrives intending to assassinate Pekora to usurp her position. This attempt fails when Jashin-chan intervenes after Poporon disrespectfully drops curry.

Surviving the attack, Pekora seeks collaboration with Poporon upon learning Jashin-chan consumed Poporon's halo, stranding her too. Poporon rejects the proposal. Pekora then takes a bodyguard job, discovering her assignment is protecting Poporon, now an idol. While on duty, Pekora intercepts a rabid fan's attack on Poporon, sustaining severe injuries that require hospitalization. Poporon volunteers to cover Pekora's medical expenses during recovery.

Over time, Pekora's stance toward Yurine and demon-affiliated characters softens. She gradually accepts them as friends and defends them when Poporon accuses her of betrayal, shifting from her initial rigid angelic principles. This culminates in her openly acknowledging these relationships.

Physically, Pekora possesses grey hair and ochre eyes. Her personality navigates between devout principles and pragmatic adaptation to earthly struggles, chiefly her persistent hunger and homelessness.
