Akakabu Hayami is a supporting character in the anime New Cutey Honey, where he is the husband of Daiko Hayami and the father of Chokkei Hayami. As a middle-aged man, he is an active participant in the high crime rate of Cosplay City, which he enjoys because it allows him and his wife to do almost anything they want without restraint. His chosen profession is that of a burglar, and he has a notable penchant for stealing any item he can get his hands on. In line with his criminal lifestyle, he encourages his son, Chokkei, to follow in his footsteps by putting him through some training.
