Motoki Yaze is a human descendant of the Devas and a member of the Yaze clan, known for producing many individuals with special abilities. He is the youngest son of Akishige Yaze, the younger half-brother of Kazuma Yaze, and the adoptive brother of Yume Eguchi. On the surface, Motoki appears as a typical high school student at Saikai Academy, where he is a classmate of Kojou Akatsuki and Asagi Aiba. In truth, he is an agent of the Far East District of the Lion‑King Organization and has been assigned as the real observer of Kojou, the Fourth Primogenitor. He also grew up as Asagi’s childhood friend and often supports her in her romantic pursuits of Kojou, even as he keeps a watchful eye on them both.
Motoki possesses the esper ability known as Air Current Manipulation, which allows him to control air, vibrations, and sound waves.
