Description
Mogura is one of the crocodile's two closest friends, forming a trio with Nezumi. Blunt by nature, he stands out as the naughtiest within their group, often displaying a mischievous and bossy demeanor that leads to instigating their playful antics. Following the crocodile's death, Mogura experiences profound grief alongside Nezumi and their wider circle, an event that deeply impacts their group dynamics. Roughly 100 days later, Mogura and Nezumi encounter Kaeru, a frog whose personality echoes their lost friend. Mogura reacts coldly to Kaeru initially, his guarded behavior stemming from unresolved grief and a resistance to connections that evoke painful memories, creating emotional distance. A pivotal shift occurs when Mogura witnesses Kaeru's emotional distress. Seeing Kaeru's vulnerability makes Mogura recognize parallels to his own grief, prompting a gradual emotional opening. This realization allows Mogura to begin moving forward from the crocodile's absence. His journey illustrates a path from resistance to acceptance, forging new bonds while honoring the past, intrinsically linked to themes of coping with loss and finding healing.
