Description
Luwai Aura Tibesti is a young African teenager who serves as the young heir to the throne of the kingdom of Isla. He has short, fluffy white hair with a braid on the right side that holds a large ring, burgundy eyes, and, in keeping with the customs of African nobility, he is typically seen wearing three neck rings around his neck. His body is highly prosthetic, a result of grave injuries he suffered during a revolt when he unwittingly stepped into crossfire and was caught by one of Salva’s war machines.
Luwai possesses an easygoing and friendly personality. He is a fan of traditional Japanese culture, having developed an interest in Japanese period dramas while still in his home country. This interest extends to a general appreciation for natural beauties and traditional atmospheres, and he was initially disappointed that the Japan he visited did not match the image Salva had painted for him, as its atmosphere felt similar to that of his homeland in Africa. He is mentally dependent on Salva, yet he is clearly aware of the difficult situation he finds himself in. Despite this awareness, he does not abandon his faith in Salva and follows him steadfastly.
In the story, Luwai appears as a supporting character. His primary role is tied to his relationship with Salva, and his loyalty and the circumstances of his prosthetic body place him at the center of key events related to the conflict and politics of Isla. His journey involves grappling with the reality of his dependence while remaining resolute in his convictions. His notable ability stems from his highly prosthetic body, though the specific capabilities of that prosthetics are not elaborated upon in available information. His development is marked by a growing recognition of the truth around him, even as he chooses to remain faithful to Salva.
