Description
Claire Harvey is one of the main female protagonists of the story. She is the first daughter and second child of Bill and Linis Harvey, making her the younger sister of Judal Harvey and the older sister of Liza Harvey. As a child, she always wanted a sister and would tell this to her mother, who later became pregnant with Liza, a child Claire named herself. Tragedy struck during a mission when Claire was trapped under rubble and a large Savage was about to attack her. Her younger sister Liza used her variant powers to protect Claire and defeat the creature, but could not endure the stress of her own power. Liza was placed in a comatose state within a capsule to remain alive. It was later decided that Liza would be used to power Little Garden, which served as a catalyst for Claire to become far stronger in order to protect her sister from her brother and father.
Claire is a beautiful young woman with blonde hair tied in long twintails, blue eyes, and a voluptuous figure. She is usually seen in the female school uniform, but wears a red variable suit when in combat as a Slayer. At first glance, Claire comes across as harsh, stuck-up, and somewhat cocky, viewing herself as the Perfect Queen. This mindset stems directly from her desire to protect her comatose little sister at all costs. Despite her harsh exterior, she acts like any other girl her age and becomes easily embarrassed in romantic situations. She has a habit of stating that Hayato keeps stealing her firsts, including her first time being groped, her first princess carry, and her first kiss, all of which happened accidentally with him. She firmly believes in the concept of noblesse oblige, the idea that those who have power should wield it on behalf of those who do not.
After being admitted into Little Garden, Claire became the highest-ranked Slayer known as the Perfect Queen and Rose Guardian. She serves as the student council president and captain of Little Garden. Her role in the story begins when she is forced to duel the new transfer student Hayato Kisaragi after threatening to expel two students who arrived late to the entrance ceremony. Though she defeats him, the duel is declared a draw and the students are allowed to stay. Following the duel and subsequent events where Hayato saves her from a Savage and accidentally kisses her, Claire develops romantic feelings for him. She later recruits Hayato to join Selections, a unit of students who carry out missions as full-fledged Slayers.

After the final battle, she retires as a Slayer due to the limits of her body, remaining faithful to her feelings for Hayato even fifteen years later.
