Description
Charlotte Dimandias is the technical director of the Little Garden academy, holding the position of the youngest chief technician in the history of the Varusland Company. Possessing a childlike appearance that belies her age, she has purple hair and is often seen wearing a long scientist's coat over a dark inner outfit, paired with glasses. Despite being past her mid-teens, she retains a youthful, almost juvenile build, which leads to her being called a prodigy and occasionally teased by others. Her personality is notably playful, yet she carries herself with the confidence of a genius who graduated from university through an accelerated program. One distinctive aspect of her character is her use of the masculine pronoun boku when referring to herself.
In her official capacity as the technical director of Little Garden, Charlotte is responsible for the repair, maintenance, and development of the anti-Savage weapons known as Hundreds. Her authority within the institution is significant, considered equal to that of the student council, granting her the power to question their decisions. She designed and built the personal Hundred units for several key characters, including the protagonist Hayato Kisaragi, Emilia Hermit, and Sakura Kisaragi. Her involvement often extends beyond just providing the equipment; she also offered direct guidance to Emilia on how to operate her specially crafted Hundred.
Charlotte maintains a long and close relationship with Emilia Hermit, having known her for a considerable time and assisting her upon her initial enrollment at the academy. Charlotte is one of the few individuals aware of Emilia’s closely guarded secret, cementing their bond as best friends. Her sense of justice and her technical expertise lead her to collaborate with the character Souffle Clearrail to investigate and ultimately expose Vitaly Tynyanov's illegal human experimentation case, a mission that results in the successful rescue of the imprisoned Sakura Kisaragi. Her inventions are not limited to Hundreds; her research into the fundamental properties of Variable Stones also powers various other creations within the world, including unique battle outfits called Variable Suits.
