Description
Pagos is a recurring supporting character in the anime adaptation of Dr. Slump, where he serves as an officer in the Penguin Village police force. He is almost always seen working together with his partner Gala, and the two are among the most frequently appearing authority figures in the village. His design gives him a black-and-white color scheme resembling a penguin, with dark hair and dark eyes, and he typically wears a police cap and uniform while carrying a police baton. The character is understood to be an adaptation of a police officer who first appeared in the one-shot Wonder Island 2, and the pairing of Pagos and Gala draws its name from the Galápagos Islands.
In terms of personality, Pagos is earnest and dutiful on the surface. He tries to approach his work with proper police seriousness, reports incidents, and attempts to uphold law and order in a village that is almost entirely indifferent to conventional rules.
