TV-Series
Description
Lime Shijō, also called Raimu, is one of the twin Guardians of the Common, an unseen realm formed by human emotions. Alongside her sister Yuzu, she enrolls as a student at Hoshinomiya Girls' High School, though no official records or class photos confirm her presence.
She has long wavy blonde hair and pale green eyes, and dresses in the Hoshinomiya uniform with a blue neck ribbon, white thigh-high stockings, and brown dress shoes. In her Reflector form, she wears a ballet-inspired outfit: a white and blue leotard with a white skirt, a green flower barrette, full-length white gloves, calf-length white boots, and a green chest bow. Her weapon is Mr. Bear, a yellow magical teddy bear that enlarges and moves like a puppet.
Lime is logical and often selfish, focused on mission success over personal concerns, though she deeply cares for Hinako Shirai and Yuzu. She engages in school life as a friendly companion but becomes stern when she views others as frivolous or disruptive.
The twins died in an accident years ago. In the hospital, they saw Hinako perform ballet on television and wished to be her friends and colleagues. This desire led them to recruit her as a Reflector, granting her powers to combat threats.
As Guardians, they protect the Common from creatures called Sephirot drawn to energy-rich locations like their school. They help Hinako stabilize emotional Fragments from other students and issue Reflector Rings to empowered allies. Initially, they mislead Hinako by promising her injured leg would be healed if all Sephirot are defeated—a false incentive, as the timeline would reset and erase memories of them, though Hinako later forgives the deception.
In the battle against Daath, a god intent on assimilating humanity, Lime and Yuzu fight beside Hinako. After victory, they prepare to return to the afterlife, but Daath grants Hinako a wish, which she uses to retain her memories of them.
Later, they confront Shino Mizusaki, who tries to invade the Common to erase human emotions, assisting Reflectors such as Hiori Hirahara against Shino and her Red Reflectors. When other defenders fall, the twins become the Common's final guardians.
During the Ash Phenomenon, which causes critical illness upon contact, Lime and Yuzu establish Oasis, a sheltered island school. They summon Reflectors worldwide to respond, but Yuzu loses her emotions and Lime falls comatose after expending her power to sustain and protect Oasis. Both recover with aid from Ao Hoshizaki and fellow Reflectors.
They discover the World System plans to reset reality using the Ash to erase humanity. After gathering all necessary Reflectors at Oasis, they ready for a final battle to defeat the System and revert time to before the Ash began.
In a subsequent mission, Lime appears in The Land where God Lives near the Cosmic Fang tower. There, she guides an Eroded boy from a distant school, teaching him to rely on Eroded girls and cultivate their abilities to purify the land and overcome the Testa.
Her name holds meaning: "Shijō" blends "officer" or "boss" (司) with "castle" (城), and "Raimu" combines "come" or "due" (来) with "dream" or "vision" (夢).
