Description
Nozomu Juse is a supporting character in the anime I Can't Understand What My Husband is Saying: 2nd Thread. He is the husband of Rino Juse and a friend of Hajime Tsunashi and his wife Kaoru. Nozomu works at a convenience store and also trains as a professional boxer, a dual role that reflects his practical and disciplined nature. He was originally named Nozomu Kimura before marrying Rino and taking her surname. Their relationship began when Nozomu, then a first-year college student, got lost on campus and met Rino, a third-year student who helped him.

Personality-wise, Nozomu is described as mature, caring, and friendly, though he can be timid, a trait that Rino is quick to notice. He is generally relaxed in demeanor but does not hesitate to speak his mind, even when his bluntness might seem inappropriate. Despite that, he remains a loyal and supportive friend, often acting as a voice of reason for the more eccentric members of his social circle. His motivations center on maintaining a stable and affectionate marriage with Rino, and he approaches their daily life with patience and a desire to keep the peace. Within the story, Nozomu serves as a grounding presence, providing advice and comic relief through his interactions with the Tsunashis. His notable abilities include his boxing skills and his capacity to navigate the whims of his strong-willed wife with good-natured submission. Nozomu appears in both seasons of the series, remaining a consistent part of the ensemble without undergoing a major character arc; his development is more about reinforcing his established traits within the slice-of-life framework.
