Gilas (also spelled Giluas) is an anime character with lightly tanned skin, dark turquoise or blue hair reaching his ears, and distinctive yellow eyes featuring three moles beneath each one.

He possesses a strong addiction to combat and demonstrates honesty and loyalty as a fighter. Gilas exhibits arrogance and high confidence, particularly preferring to face challenging opponents. He shows kindness and protectiveness toward friends and innocent individuals. Gilas is notably hardworking and determined, capable of recognizing his own strengths and weaknesses, and shows a willingness to improve despite difficulties such as reading causing him headaches.

Holding the rank of S in the Radinia Adventurer's Guild, Gilas is recognized as the strongest adventurer within the Radinia Alliance. His combat prowess includes exceptional fencing skills, enabling him to dodge and counter attacks at a level comparable to Matthias. He employs spells like "Body Boost" to enhance his physical strength. Magically, Gilas exhibits an instinctive and unconscious use of magic—a rare trait noted by Matthias—allowing him to replicate spells after seeing them once. This instinctive magic includes "Chant Annulment" (chantless magic), "Magic Circle" for barriers, "Physical Reinforcement," and "Bouncing Slash" to deflect attacks or enable chain attacks. He also utilizes augmentation spells like "Sharpen" to increase weapon damage and "Iron Slash" to enhance a sword’s sharpness and hardness.
