Description
Maya is a young priestess from Asuka Island, a location in the Grand Line. She belongs to a lineage of shrine maidens whose ancestor originally sealed the legendary cursed blade known as the Seven-Star Sword. Maya is the granddaughter of Izaya and the fiancée of Saga, a swordsman who later becomes possessed by that same blade. She has long blue hair, partially tied up with lavender barrettes, and wears large pink beads at the sides of her face.
Her personality is gentle, compassionate, and selfless. She deeply loves Saga and blames herself for his corruption, believing that she failed to prevent his descent into darkness. This guilt drives her to risk her own life in an effort to free him from the sword’s influence.
