Description
Efreeta, also known as the Demon God Ifurita, originates as an ancient weapon created by the lost prior civilization of the world of El-Hazard. She is a biological machine or combat android designed with the appearance of a beautiful young woman, possessing long purple hair in her original OVA design. Her construction as a weapon of immense power places her among entities known as "Gods" or "Demons," created specifically to counter the power of the royal family and wield nuclear-class destructive capabilities.
The defining feature of Efreeta's operational mechanics is a large wind-up key inserted into her back. The act of winding this key activates her and establishes the person who performed the winding as her master, to whom she is bound by an absolute obedience circuit.
