Francesca Guadagno is an Italian voice actress, dubbing director, and former singer, widely recognized for her extensive contributions to the Italian-language versions of anime, animated series, and live-action films. Born in Rome on January 22, 1967, she began her career in entertainment as a child performer.

Guadagno's early and most iconic role was providing the Italian voice for Heidi in the classic anime series Heidi, Girl of the Alps, a performance that endeared her to generations of Italian viewers. Her work in anime is vast and includes many prominent characters. She voiced Kasumi Tendo in Ranma ½ and took over the role of Kikyo from the second to the sixth season of Inuyasha. Other significant anime roles include Yukino Yayoi and Promesium in the Queen Millennia movie, Mayumi in Jeeg Robot d'acciaio, and Ume in Crayon Shin-chan. Her repertoire also encompasses characters like Ilvy in Vicke the Little Viking, Sister Akane in St. Luminous Mission High School, Million in Sorcerer on the Rocks, and Esmeralda in Maetel Legend. Beyond anime, she has been the Italian voice for numerous characters in Western animation, such as Wanda in The Fairly OddParents, Kitty Softpaws in the Puss in Boots films, Vanity and Handy Smurf in The Smurfs, and Agnes Skinner in The Simpsons.

In addition to her animation work, Guadagno has had a prolific career dubbing live-action films and television series. She is the primary Italian voice for actresses including Melissa McCarthy, Cameron Diaz, Octavia Spencer, and Jennifer Garner, whom she dubbed as Elektra in Daredevil and Elektra. Her television dubbing work includes roles in series such as Beverly Hills 90210, Criminal Minds, Gossip Girl, and I Robinson (The Cosby Show). She also voiced the character of Mariangela Fantozzi in the first two films of the beloved Italian Fantozzi series.

Guadagno has also worked as a dubbing director and, as a child singer, is remembered for her spoken parts in the Domenico Modugno song Piange... il telefono. She comes from a family of voice actors; she is the sister of Marco Guadagno and the aunt of Perla Liberatori.
