Nanacchi is one of the seven versions of Nana Suzuki created when her grandfather's experiment to crystallize a rainbow goes wrong, splitting Nana's personality into six distinct aspects that take physical form alongside the original. Nanacchi specifically embodies the smiling, happy-go-lucky side of Nana's personality. She is always cheerful and maintains a positive outlook on every situation, which makes her the most approachable and friendly of the seven. She has a particular fondness for movies, especially comedies, and also takes an interest in cooking. Her designated color is yellow.

As part of the group of seven Nanas, Nanacchi shares the same background as the original Nana but acts as an exaggerated personification of her lightheartedness. Her primary motivation is to enjoy life and spread happiness, though she also participates in the collective goal of helping the original Nana win the affection of their crush, Yuichi Kamichika. Within the group, she is easy to get along with and rarely causes conflict, acting as a harmonizing presence among the more volatile personalities. Her relationships with the other Nanas are generally positive, and she works well with them in coordinated efforts such as baking or using their combined powers.

Nanacchi lacks a unique special ability distinct from the other clones; like all the Nana versions, she possesses the general powers granted by her rainbow crystal: flight, super strength, and super speed. When the Nanas transform into the Nana Rangers, she can also use her crystal to activate the corresponding costume and enhanced abilities. Over the course of the series, she remains consistently cheerful and does not undergo significant personal development, serving as a steady source of optimism for the group.
