Description
Mimete is a character who appears as an antagonist in the Sailor Moon S season of the anime. She is the second member of the Witches 5, a group within the Death Busters organization, to actively carry out missions. Her primary role involves collecting pure heart crystals, referred to as Hostes, from victims to serve the Death Busters' master, Pharaoh 90. In the anime, Mimete takes over this duty after the death of her fellow witch, Eudial.

Mimete is characterized by a flighty, frivolous, and easily distracted personality. She often fixates on attractive male idols and celebrities, spending much of her time flirting with them or doting on them rather than focusing on her assignments. This makes her the least organized and most scatterbrained of the Witches 5. Despite her seemingly carefree demeanor, she is capable of ruthless and self-serving behavior. She sabotages Eudial by cutting the brakes on her car, leading to Eudial's fatal accident, and feels no remorse. Throughout her appearances, she shifts from a mostly comedic figure to a more openly malicious one, though she never loses her underlying silliness.

Her motivations stem from a desire to prove herself to Professor Tomoe, the human leader of the Death Busters, and to secure her position within the organization. She is eager to impress him but frequently fails due to her own negligence. Mimete's key relationships include a rivalry with Eudial, whom she eventually kills, and a later antagonism with Tellu, another witch. In a notable divergence from the manga, the anime gives Mimete a short-lived friendship with Minako Aino (Sailor Venus) before her true identity is exposed, adding a layer of tragedy to her downfall.

In terms of abilities, Mimete wields charm-based magic. Her signature attack is called Charm Buster, which she delivers using a staff and purple ribbons. She can also create Daimons, monsters that can extract pure heart crystals from victims by sucking them out through their mouths. These Daimons require the power of the Holy Grail to be defeated. Mimete's personal powers rely on love magic that can captivate or charm targets.

Her development culminates in a failed attempt to increase her power using an abandoned invention of Eudial's, the Witches Electric Warp, which converts a person into energy and projects them onto a large television screen. As she activates the device, Tellu deliberately pulls the plug, trapping Mimete inside the screen forever. When the building housing the screen is later destroyed, Mimete is killed. This ironic end—caused by the same kind of sabotage she herself had used on Eudial—marks her final fate in the anime.
