Description
Burst appears in the final episode of the original Dangaioh OVA series, acting as an antagonist. His background is tied directly to the protagonist Roll Kran, as Burst is a former comrade from Roll's home planet of Latecia. Before the events of the story, Burst and his partner Flash were responsible for Roll's death, having murdered him while serving together in the same combat unit. This past betrayal is the source of Roll's deep-seated fear of death that he struggles with throughout the series.
As a character, Burst is defined by his treachery and his alliance with the space pirate organization known as the Bunker. He serves under Commander Dartilla and works alongside the resurrected cyborg Gil Berg.
