Description
Lasagna is a minor supporting character in the 1985 anime film Lupin III: The Legend of the Gold of Babylon. She is a young woman from Italy with brown hair and black eyes. Her most notable trait is her participation in the Miss ICPO beauty contest, where she enters as a contestant and unexpectedly wins the competition. This victory is presented as a dark horse outcome, as she receives little introduction or buildup before taking the crown. Following the pageant, Lasagna joins the group of beauty contest winners who are reluctantly dragged along by Inspector Zenigata as he pursues Lupin. These women are meant to serve as auxiliary police agents, though their involvement is largely comedic and chaotic. Lasagna does not display any special skills or abilities; her role is primarily that of a background comedic figure within the larger ensemble of the ICPO girls. She has no significant personal motivations or development beyond her brief participation in the contest and the subsequent chase. Her relationships with other characters are minimal, as she is merely one of several interchangeable contestants who follow Zenigata's orders. Her appearance is limited to the film's early and middle segments, and she does not undergo any character growth or play a pivotal role in the treasure hunt.
