Description
Miho Shirakawa, a 28-year-old nurse at Dr. Goriki's clinic, maintains a calm and mature professional demeanor while occasionally revealing a mischievous streak. She practices capoeira regularly as a hobby. Burdened by student debt accumulated without parental support, Shirakawa borrowed money from yakuza member Dobu, leading her into debt-driven illicit activities. These include stealing clinic medication for black-market sales and participating in "badger games"—honey trap schemes targeting wealthy individuals.

Her history with Dobu adds complexity to their financial dealings, as they were romantically involved around 2017. At the clinic, Shirakawa assists Dr. Goriki in investigating Hiroshi Odokawa’s condition, noting his chronic insomnia and unusual descriptions of people as animals, though the cause initially eludes them.

Shirakawa displays fierce loyalty despite personal risks. When Yamamoto assaults Odokawa, she intervenes with her capoeira skills, saving Odokawa’s life—even after he discovered her involvement in honey traps strained their relationship.

Odokawa’s recovery from childhood trauma-induced visual agnosia later reveals Shirakawa’s true human form, correcting his prior perception of humans as animals. Following the resolution of a missing girl case, Odokawa’s negotiations indirectly settle Shirakawa’s debt with Dobu. Her story concludes with hints of a budding romantic relationship with Odokawa as they move forward.
