Description
Alpha is a primary antagonist in Inazuma Eleven GO 2: Chrono Stone, serving as the original captain of Protocol Omega, a team dispatched from the future to eliminate soccer from history. His code name, Alpha, comes from the first letter of the Greek alphabet, symbolizing his role as the initial and primary agent in El Dorado's mission. He is a forward and wears the number 10 jersey for his team.

Physically, Alpha is of average height with distinct purple or violet hair that falls to his neck and sharp grey eyes. One of his most notable physical traits is his pointed ears, which give him an otherworldly appearance. He typically wears the standard uniform of Protocol Omega along with a teal-colored captain's band, and also has a communication device on his right ear.

Alpha's personality is defined by his calm, serious, and stoic demeanor. He rarely shows any emotion, remaining completely impassive even when facing defeat or being sent to a detention facility. His speech is notably terse and efficient, as he has a strong habit of answering most questions or commands with only a simple Yes or No. He does not appreciate frivolous arguments, particularly the constant bickering between his fellow El Dorado agents Beta and Gamma, and will often step in to stop their disputes. As an agent, he views his mission with the utmost seriousness and initially regards soccer players with a sense of superiority, believing his objective to be logical and necessary.

The character is introduced when he appears before the protagonist Tenma Matsukaze after soccer has been erased from the memories of everyone at Raimon Junior High. Alpha explains that he is responsible for this change and intends to complete his mission by erasing Tenma's memories as well. To do this, he uses a Sphere Device to travel back in time and interfere with a pivotal moment from Tenma's childhood, attempting to prevent him from being inspired to play soccer. When this method fails to erase Tenma's passion, Alpha challenges him to a soccer match. He initially has the upper hand, demonstrating his team's power, but their first match ends inconclusively with the intervention of the mysterious boy Fei Rune.

Alpha serves as the first major obstacle for the Raimon team as they travel through different historical eras to protect the foundation of soccer. His team, Protocol Omega, battles Raimon on multiple occasions, including in the era of Mark Evans and during the childhood of Victor Blade. However, Alpha suffers repeated defeats. Because of his continued failures, he and several of his teammates are sent to the MUGEN (a prison facility standing for Must-Generic Training Center) to be replaced by Beta and a new version of Protocol Omega.

Alpha is eventually brought back for the Ragnarok Tournament, where he is assigned to El Dorado Team 02 alongside his rivals Beta and Gamma. Even within this new team, his relationships with them remain tense and competitive, as they frequently clash over who is the strongest and refuse to cooperate. Alpha resists teamwork, and initially, the three of them cannot work together effectively, causing friction on the field. It is only when their captain, Shindou Takuto, uses his tactical abilities to coordinate them that Alpha agrees to combine their power. He works with Beta and Gamma to execute a powerful combination hissatsu technique called Shoot Command 24, also known as Omega Attack, which successfully scores a goal.

Throughout the story, Alpha undergoes subtle but significant development. During his early matches against Raimon, he experiences an unfamiliar, thorn-like feeling in his chest when he is defeated, hinting at a growing emotional conflict he does not understand. After the final match of the Ragnarok Tournament, he approaches the Raimon players and, for the first time, smiles slightly. When asked directly if he enjoys soccer, he breaks from his usual detached demeanor and gives a simple, affirmative Yes, showing that he has developed a genuine appreciation for the sport he was meant to erase. By the end of the series, he is seen interacting more peacefully with his former rivals, indicating a significant shift away from his role as an unfeeling agent.

In terms of abilities, Alpha is a highly skilled and powerful forward. He is notable for being the first player in the series to demonstrate the Keshin Armed technique, which allows him to manifest armor from his fighting spirit to enhance his power. His Keshin, or fighting spirit, is called Fenix, Ruler of the Skies (also known as Tenkuu no Shihaisha Houou), a powerful phoenix-like entity. His individual hissatsu techniques include the dribbling move Claymore and shooting techniques such as Spinning Transam and Gauss Shot. When working in perfect synchronization with Beta and Gamma, the three can execute the Omega Attack, a formidable combination shot. According to analysis from another character, his statistics in ball control and speed are notably high, making him a well-balanced and dangerous offensive player.
