Description
Clark Wonderbot is an android from the future designed to look like a small, blue teddy bear. Despite his huggable appearance, he strongly dislikes being called a bear and will react with indignation if anyone refers to him as one. His most distinctive physical feature is a meter on his chest, called his Excitement Gauge, which rises and causes his entire body to turn pink whenever he becomes emotionally excited or overwhelmed. He also has a habit of repeating part of his own nickname, Wandaba, when in crisis.

In terms of personality, Clark Wonderbot is a blend of high energy and serious dedication. He is generally confident and eager to take charge, often proclaiming himself the great coach of the team. However, he is frequently frustrated by a recurring gag where, upon arriving in a new historical era, a local figure of authority immediately replaces him as the team’s coach, leaving him feeling depressed and sidelined. Despite these comedic moments of being overlooked, he can become very serious and focused when the situation demands it, particularly when explaining complex concepts like time travel or parallel worlds to the team.

Clark Wonderbot's primary motivation is to help the Raimon team restore the correct timeline and protect soccer from being erased. He appears at the start of the story driving the Inazuma TM Caravan, a vehicle capable of traveling through time. His most crucial tool is the Mixi Max Gun, a device he uses to fuse the aura of a historical figure or creature with a soccer player, granting them new abilities and power. He first uses this gun to give Fei Rune the aura of a Tyrannosaurus. Throughout the journey, he is responsible for navigating different timelines, from the era of dinosaurs to the Sengoku period, and operating the Mixi Max Gun to help the players grow stronger.

His most significant relationship is with Fei Rune. While he was originally assigned by a scientist named Dr. Crossword Arno to act as Fei’s guardian and watcher, Clark reveals that his dedication goes far beyond his orders. He confesses that he grew to genuinely love Fei as a friend because Fei was the first person to treat the android as an equal companion rather than just a machine. This bond becomes a key emotional moment in the story when he pleads with the protagonist, Tenma Matsukaze, to use soccer to save Fei from the enemy’s influence. He also has a close working relationship with Tenma, acting as his and the team's guide and coach.

Throughout the story, Clark Wonderbot shows little to no character development in terms of changing his personality, but his role gains significant depth. He starts as a seemingly comic-relief android coach but later reveals a profound emotional capacity for friendship and loyalty, moving from a programmed caretaker to a true friend willing to fight for Fei. His development is less about changing who he is and more about revealing the genuine feelings hidden beneath his excitable, mechanical exterior.

In terms of notable abilities, Clark Wonderbot can operate sophisticated future technology, including the time-traveling Inazuma TM Caravan and the Mixi Max Gun. He also has the unique ability to change color from blue to pink based on his emotional state. He is highly knowledgeable about soccer history, time-space theory, and the mechanics of Keshin, Mixi Max, and armed abilities, which he explains patiently to the team. He is also credited with creating the Inalink, a messaging system used in the games.
