Medea is the leader, also known as the Queen, of Darkspin, an expensive mercenary group that operates in the world of Monsuno. She made her first appearance in the episode Wicked, where Dr. Emmanuel Klipse assigned her and her Darkspin members to test the protagonist Chase Suno in battle. Medea is a major antagonist throughout the series, appearing in Monsuno: World Master and Monsuno: Combat Chaos. Her personality is marked by a cold, calculating demeanor; she is a strategic thinker who crafts complex plans to achieve her objectives. She is feared and respected by allies and enemies alike, and she carries herself with the solitary discipline of a lone samurai.
