Later, alongside Gian, he discovers the miniature alien Papi at Nobita's residence. Suneo proposes utilizing Doraemon's "Small Light" gadget to shrink the group for filming within the diorama, reflecting his preference for inventive technological approaches. When rebel forces under Dracoruru capture Shizuka, Suneo joins her rescue operation using a modified "Astrotank." He volunteers for the mission to Planet Pirika to aid Papi, traveling aboard Papi's repaired rocket. During this operation, Suneo remains stationed with Shizuka at the Freedom Alliance base while others undertake a perilous assignment, voicing concern for their safety. He later engages unmanned fighter planes with the Astrotank to protect the base. Reuniting with the group on Planet Pirika, Suneo witnesses their return to normal size as the Small Light's effects expire. He participates in the final battle against PCIA forces, contributing to the collective overthrow of the dictatorship. After the conflict, he attends a preview of the completed film at his house, where the group contemplates sharing their real adventure.
