Description
Shino Kiryuu, a petite high school student with white hair secured in a bun by a purple ribbon and striking purple eyes, wears her school uniform accentuated by a matching purple bowtie and black control-top tights. Her academic prowess is effortless, consistently placing her at the top of her class.

Her bond with Saki Saki traces back to grade school, where Saki’s persistent overtures gradually broke through Shino’s initial aloofness. Years later, Shino advised Naoya Mukai on his repeated confessions to Saki, receiving the purple ribbon she now always wears as a token from him. Though quietly harboring romantic feelings for Naoya, she prioritized loyalty to Saki, even aiding him in choosing gifts for her friend.

Upon uncovering Naoya’s polyamorous relationship with Saki and Nagisa Minase, Shino resolved to dismantle it, convinced it endangered Saki’s well-being. She infiltrated Naoya’s home under the guise of tutoring Nagisa, though unresolved emotions led to chaotic slip-ups—frequent accidental tumbles onto Naoya resulting in nudity, sparking Saki’s playful misinterpretations.

A trip to Okinawa, facilitated by Shino’s loan of her family’s property, escalated her campaign. Partnering with Rika Hoshizaki, she sabotaged romantic moments between Naoya and his girlfriends. Stranded alone with him on a deserted island, she impulsively kissed him before fainting mid-confession. This clash of ethics and longing drove her to contemplate transferring schools, until interventions by Rika and Saki pushed her to openly declare her feelings, shifting from restraint to actively vying for Naoya’s attention.

Her dynamic with Saki cycled through friendship, rivalry, and mutual affection after Saki proposed dating her directly. Guilt-ridden yet yielding to Saki’s insistence, Shino reconciled and entered Naoya’s relationship as his third girlfriend.

Rooted in wealth, Shino’s background surfaces through gestures like providing the Okinawa retreat. Her preferences lean toward sushi and mackerel, particularly mackerel fish sticks. The purple ribbon remains a steadfast emblem of her tie to Naoya.

Her arc weaves moral rigidity with burgeoning vulnerability, marked by comedic stumbles born of repressed emotions. From principled reserve to active romantic pursuit, she navigates loyalty and self-acceptance, embodying a tension between duty and desire.
