Description
Captain Kraft is the head of the Royal Guard Army from the planet Dogra and serves as the primary bodyguard of Prince Baka Ki El Dogra. Holding the rank of captain, he is in his tenth year of service and commands two subordinates, fifth-year guard Sado and first-year guard Colin, who assist him in his duties. His top priority is ensuring the safety of the unpredictable prince, a responsibility he takes with relentless seriousness. By nature, Kraft is an earnest and dedicated leader who is highly capable of commanding his unit; however, he is also quick to anger, often provoked by the prince’s elaborate and malevolent pranks. This contrast between his professional competence and his short fuse frequently turns him into the unwitting victim of absurd situations and the center of the prince’s jokes.

Kraft’s motivations are rooted in loyalty to both the royal family and the broader mission of maintaining intergalactic peace. As a representative of Dogra’s authority, he throws himself into investigating extraterrestrial threats and resolving alien crises that emerge on Earth, all while attempting to rein in his charge’s chaotic behavior. His role in the story is that of a long-suffering straight man: he tracks down the missing prince, confronts hostile aliens, and works alongside humans like Yukitaka Tsutsui, yet he consistently finds his efforts undermined by the prince’s schemes. Despite the constant humiliation, Kraft never wavers in his commitment, demonstrating a resilient, though exasperated, devotion to his mission. His key relationships revolve around his command of Sado and Colin, whom he leads with authority and protectiveness, and his antagonistic yet dutiful dynamic with the prince, where he is perpetually caught between obedience and fury. Over the course of the narrative, Kraft does not undergo dramatic personal transformation but instead remains a steadfast figure whose patience is repeatedly tested, reinforcing his image as a capable soldier trapped in an absurd reality. In terms of notable abilities, his position as captain suggests accomplished leadership, combat training, and tactical acumen, all of which he employs when facing genuine dangers even while his worth is comically undercut by the prince’s mischief.
