TV-Series
Description
Miho Edogawa is a high school student who appears as a supporting character in the anime Level E. She is the next-door neighbor and classmate of Yukitaka Tsutsui, and she lives on her own because her father is away conducting research on alien life forms on Earth. Miho is a young woman with long brown hair and brown eyes, and she carries herself with an approachable, natural demeanor.
Her personality is initially reserved when she first meets Yukitaka, but she quickly becomes more open and curious, particularly after she begins to suspect that Prince Baka, an alien prince who has taken up residence with Yukitaka, is of extraterrestrial origin. Despite the bizarre and often chaotic events that unfold around her, Miho retains a bright and optimistic attitude. She is highly adaptable and does not become overly alarmed by the strange occurrences that disrupt her daily life. Her thinking is grounded in practicality and realism, which allows her to accept unusual situations without excessive fear or panic. Rather than being swept away by emotion, she assesses circumstances with a level head and responds in a composed, forward-looking manner.
Miho's primary motivation is to maintain a sense of normalcy in her own life, even as the extraordinary intrudes upon it. She does not seek out adventure or conflict but is willing to engage with whatever comes her way. Her role in the story is to provide a human, everyday perspective against the backdrop of alien machinations. She acts as a stabilizing presence, keeping the narrative grounded when the prince’s antics escalate. Her interactions with Yukitaka are friendly and natural, grounded in the routines of school and neighboring life. With Prince Baka, she demonstrates flexibility and tolerance, not allowing his erratic behavior to rattle her deeply.
Over the course of the series, Miho shows a gradual but subtle development. She becomes more accustomed to the strange happenings around her and grows more comfortable in her interactions with the prince and others caught up in the alien conflicts. While she does not exhibit any supernatural abilities, her resourcefulness and emotional steadiness allow her to adapt to new challenges without difficulty. Her notable ability is her resilience and capacity to remain calm and practical in the face of the absurd, making her an effective counterweight to the more extreme personalities in the story.
