Description
Azusa Miura is the oldest idol at the 765 Production agency, a fact that defines much of her presence among the group. At 21 years old, she naturally assumes the role of a big sister figure, offering a calming and mature presence to the younger members. Her decision to become an idol came shortly after graduating from junior college, driven by a heartfelt and somewhat romantic motivation: she believes this path will lead her to her destined someone. This belief in fate and true love is a core part of her character, and she often enjoys giving and reading fortunes, hoping for signs of her romantic future.

In terms of personality, Azusa is the embodiment of a gentle and easygoing nature. She is known for her calm, laid-back demeanor and is rarely seen losing her temper. This serene quality makes her a stabilizing force, providing a sense of motherly warmth as she watches over her more energetic and dream-filled colleagues. However, this relaxed attitude also contributes to her most famous and endearing quirk: a terribly poor sense of direction. Azusa is infamous for getting lost with startling ease, even when following a map or familiar routes, leading to many unexpected detours and misadventures. Her scatterbrained tendencies also extend to other areas, such as forgetting about a diet and eating twelve puddings in a moment of hunger.

Within the story, Azusa quickly finds success as a member of the elite unit Ryuuguu Komachi, alongside Iori Minase and Ami Futami. Her role is not as a leader, but as a supportive senior who shines through her visual appeal and stable performances. While she may not be the most vocal or have the highest number of appearances, her individual episodes often highlight her kind-hearted and helpful nature. In one notable instance, she becomes entangled in a stranger's wedding, spending the day helping people in need while wearing a wedding dress for a photoshoot, which perfectly encapsulates her role as a gentle, accidental heroine. She acts as a stabilizer for the other idols, offering quiet support and even sharing her home with a troubled colleague like Chihaya Kisaragi when necessary.

Key relationships are built on her status as the eldest. She shares a close bond with her producer, Ritsuko Akizuki, who is younger than her and is often the target of Azusa's subtle, playful side, such as acting cute when drunk. Her interactions with the other idols are generally warm and sisterly, though she is not one to discipline or lead them forcefully, preferring to watch over them with a smile. Despite her easygoing nature, Azusa possesses a quiet strength and loyalty. She is fiercely protective of her friends and colleagues and will not tolerate anyone insulting them, showing a more serious side when her loved ones are threatened.

Azusa experiences little dramatic change, remaining a consistent source of comfort and maturity. However, her loyalty and quiet resolve are tested when the agency faces crises, demonstrating that her calm exterior hides a deep commitment to the people she cares about. Her notable abilities are less about specific performance skills and more about her innate qualities. Her beauty is often described as almost supernatural, capable of captivating not only people but also animals, who are drawn to follow her. While not a formal skill, her preternatural ability to get lost is legendary, often leading to humorous situations where she ends up in completely unexpected locations, from a different prefecture to, in one instance, Africa. In addition to her idol training in singing and dancing, she is also surprisingly proficient in practical skills like applying joint locks, a talent whose origin remains unexplained. Her personal life includes enjoying leisurely walks with her pet dog, Toratan, and visiting stylish cafes.
