Chiaki Takahashi, born on May 8, 1977, in Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan, is a veteran Japanese voice actress, singer, and model. She began her career in 1997 after graduating from the Aoni Production training school, initially working under her birth name, Chiaki Takahashi (written as 高橋 千晶). On October 10, 2000, she changed the kanji characters of her name to 高橋 智秋, though the pronunciation remained the same. Over her decades-long career, she has been affiliated with several agencies, including Aoni Production and Arts Vision, before becoming a freelancer in 2007. She is currently represented by Avex Management.

Takahashi is renowned for a prolific career with a wide range of anime roles. One of her most iconic and long-running performances is Azusa Miura in the massively popular The iDOLM@STER franchise, a role she has voiced across numerous adaptations, including the 2011 television anime, multiple video games, and theatrical films. Another significant early role was Mitsuki Hayase in the romance drama Kimi ga Nozomu Eien, credited under the alias Tomoko Ishibashi.

Her versatility is demonstrated through a diverse array of characters across many series. She has voiced Tsumugi Tōdō in A Bridge to the Starry Skies, Nanami Kanroji in the School Days series, and Himiko in the various Ikki Tousen installments, such as Shin Ikki Tousen and Ikki Tousen: Western Wolves. She is also the voice of Magiquone (also known as Arfoire) in the Hyperdimension Neptunia series, Christina in Princess Connect! Re:Dive, and Ichijiku Kadenokoji in Hypnosis Mic -Division Rap Battle-. Her portfolio further includes roles like the Thief in Dragon Goes House-Hunting, Mineru Wachi in Mother of the Goddess' Dormitory, Rose Lohe in Armor Shop for Ladies & Gentlemen, and Misuzu and Mirei Jinno in The Island of Giant Insects. She also had a notable run in the Pokémon anime, providing voices for Officer Jenny and various Pokémon during the Best Wishes! series.

Beyond her anime work, Takahashi has extensive credits in video game dubbing, including the character Litchi Faye Ling in the BlazBlue series. She is also active in dubbing foreign films and television series into Japanese, with credits including Gossip Girl, Euphoria, and Mad Max: Fury Road.

Takahashi is also a singer. She was a member of the J-pop voice actor unit Aice5, formed by Yui Horie in 2005. In 2010, she began a solo singing career, releasing her debut single "Kon'ya wa Chupa♡Riko" under the Avex label in 2011. In addition to her voice and music career, she has also worked as a gravure model, known for her bold and confident image, and has released a写真集 (photobook) titled "Juicy Dancing".
