Description
Ageha is a secondary character in Omamori Himari, known as a himoenma, a type of succubus ayakashi who feeds on the blood of men. She has a youthful, adolescent appearance with shoulder-length brown hair and green eyes, and is typically seen wearing a distinctive red hat and skirt paired with a white shirt.
Ageha begins her role in the story as a minor antagonist. Her initial goal is to kill Yuto Amakawa, the series' protagonist, in order to establish herself as a more fearsome threat. This leads to a direct confrontation with Himari, the cat demon sworn to protect Yuto. During the battle, Ageha initially has the upper hand, but the fight turns when Yuto throws himself in front of a sword slash meant for Himari. Enraged by Yuto's injury, Himari enters a powerful true form and defeats Ageha. Before Himari can deliver a fatal blow, Yuto stops her, sparing Ageha's life.
This act of mercy becomes the catalyst for a significant change in Ageha. After being protected by Yuto, her murderous intent transforms into a strong attraction and eventual affection for him. She later kidnaps Yuto and, after learning that he has only kissed Himari, she kisses him and begins to suck his blood, an act that gives her intense pleasure. Following this, she largely abandons her antagonistic role and aligns herself with Yuto's group, participating in discussions about greater threats like the nine-tailed fox, Tamamo no Mae. Her personality shifts to become friendlier, though she continues to make playful, often aggressive advances on Yuto in her attempts to drink his blood.
