Description
Christina Morgan, also known as the Regina Geas, is a prominent figure in the world of Princess Connect! Re:Dive and a member of the powerful collective known as the Seven Crowns. She physically appears as a tall woman with golden blonde hair tied up in a high ponytail using a fluffy black hair tie, and her eyes are a matching gold hue. Standing at 165cm, her birthday is on February 7th, making her 27 years old.
Christina holds a significant and shifting role within the kingdom of Landsol. She served as the vice-captain of the royal knight order, Nightmare, and also held the position of guild master for a group called the Round Table. Her allegiance is complex; initially serving the enigmatic Kaiser Insight, she later betrays this loyalty after nearly being killed, eventually forming an alliance with the Labyrinth guild. Following these events, she transitions from her military roles to become the producer for the idol guild, Carmina.
In both Astrum and reality, Christina possesses a dominant and impulsive personality. She is characterized by a love of battle and an insatiable desire to fight strong opponents, often pursuing her own whims without concern for the consequences to those around her. This aggressive nature has led her to instigate conflicts, such as attacking the headquarters of the beastman guild Caon for her own amusement, which contributed to another vice-captain, Saren, leaving the order in protest. Despite this, she displays a reasonable sense of duty and a methodical approach to problem-solving when it suits her, though she tends to focus on the immediate present rather than abstract theories.
During the main story of the first arc, Christina is introduced as a formidable antagonist operating under the orders of Kaiser Insight. She is tasked with capturing members of the Labyrinth guild and even makes a deal with another character, Karyl, to eliminate the princess, Pecorine. However, after Kaiser Insight attacks her indiscriminately with a massive spell, Christina loses all trust in her leader. Imprisoned for her failure, she is later rescued and subsequently allies herself with the very people she was hunting, turning against her former master. After escaping, she loses her official position in Nightmare and becomes the producer for the idol group Carmina, though she continues to operate primarily by her own rules.
Her key relationships are largely defined by her desire for a worthy challenge and a peculiar, self-imposed romantic contract. She forms a significant bond with the protagonist, Yuuki. After a sparring match where Yuuki accidentally gropes her, Christina reveals a childhood vow to marry any man who touches her chest, immediately shifting her attitude toward him from interrogator to prospective bride. She proceeds to visit him for marriage training and simulated domestic life, showing a softer, more attentive side. Outside of this, she holds a grudge against Kaiser Insight for the betrayal, works alongside the guild Carmina as their producer, and has connections with other powerful figures like Labyrista.
Throughout her personal story, Christina undergoes subtle but meaningful development. Initially driven purely by boredom and the thrill of combat, her encounters with Yuuki force her to confront the value of mutual reliance. After seeing him in danger due to her enemies, she hesitates, realizing that her reckless lifestyle could hurt someone important to her. Inspired by Yuuki's words to a lost child about staying with family, she reaffirms her commitment to never abandon those she cares for, choosing to fight alongside him rather than alone.
Christina's most notable ability is her Seven Crowns authority, known as Numbers Avalon, which grants her the power of absolute attack and absolute defense. By controlling the system's pseudo-random numbers, she can calculate the trajectory of any incoming attack, allowing her to dodge it perfectly, while simultaneously ensuring her own strikes are guaranteed to hit. This power gives her an overwhelming advantage in combat. However, it is not without flaws. Her calculation ability can be overwhelmed by a large volume of moving objects, such as rain falling, which forces her to process each droplet and leaves her vulnerable. Similarly, low visibility from dust or attacks originating from outside her field of vision can bypass her defenses. In the physical game, these translate to abilities that allow her to ignore enemy attacks and land critical hits on command, making her a devastating front-line physical attacker.
