OVA
Description
Miyuki Chitose is a fourth-grade student and a left-handed tennis player who lives in Miyazaki, Kyushu. She is the younger sister of Senri Chitose, a player from Shitenhoji Academy. Her skin is notably darker than her brother's in the manga. In the OVA Another Story - Kako to Mirai no Message, Miyuki's role revolves around her encounter with Kunimitsu Tezuka when he travels to Kyushu for rehabilitation after the National Tournament. She initially mistakes Tezuka for a thief and playfully calls him dorobo ni-chan, or thief older brother. Despite this, she quickly becomes his friend and supporter. Her personality is marked by boldness and a strong sense of justice. When she witnesses members of the Shishigaku Middle School tennis team gang up on the injured Tezuka in a cruel, lopsided match, she bravely confronts the bullies alone, fueled by righteous anger. This act of courage demonstrates her willingness to stand up against unfairness, even when she is outnumbered. Her motivations are grounded in protecting others and helping Tezuka recover both physically and mentally. She is a skilled tennis player for her age, capable of competing in official tournaments, and her left-handed play mirrors that of her older brother. Her friendship with Tezuka is central to her involvement in the story, and through this relationship she shows warmth, loyalty, and a determined spirit. While her appearance in the OVA is relatively brief, she leaves an impression as a spirited young athlete who refuses to overlook injustice.
