TV-Series
Description
Chacha Akaza is a supporting character in the Maken-Ki series, serving as a sophomore student at Tenbi Academy and a member of the Student Council Security Division. She is a foreign student with a distinctive appearance, characterized by her light brown or tanned skin, grey hair styled into a side ponytail, and green eyes.

Her background includes being a powerful Ability User who wields a Maken known as Compressor. This unique ability allows her to manipulate the density, size, shape, and mass of inanimate objects she comes into contact with. For example, she can transform a small, broken plank of wood into an enormous and sturdy board. Beyond her supernatural power, Chacha possesses immense natural physical strength, demonstrated when she easily won an arm-wrestling match against an opponent three times her size, much to the amazement of her peers.

Chacha's personality is defined by her enthusiasm, carefree nature, and laidback attitude. She is almost always seen smiling and is highly sociable, capable of befriending virtually anyone she meets. She displays a notable lack of modesty and is not bothered by being seen naked, a trait that sets her apart from many other female characters in the series. Her energetic and sometimes extreme approach to life can manifest in drastic actions, such as subjecting her friend Takeru Ooyama to dangerous, life-or-death training methods. She also has a playful sense of humor that sometimes borders on inappropriate, such as making a public joke about another character's underwear situation.

A key element of her personal life is her close friendship with Kimi Sato. They are best friends and creative partners, bonding over their shared love of manga and doujinshi. Chacha is highly skilled at illustration and, together with Kimi, produces Boys' Love doujinshi, identifying as a fujoshi. She is one of the few people who can truly understand and appreciate Kimi's unique artistic style, making their partnership both personal and professional. Her speech patterns are also distinctive, as she speaks in a Kansai dialect and frequently misuses common proverbs and words, a quirk she remains unconcerned about.

In the story, Chacha's role is primarily as a supporting member of the Tenbi Academy's disciplinary forces. Her motivations stem from her straightforward and friendly disposition, as she readily participates in the duties of the Security Division to maintain order at the academy. While she does not undergo significant dramatic development throughout the series, her consistent energy, loyalty, and powerful abilities make her a reliable ally in various conflicts and training scenarios, as well as a source of comedic relief within the group.
