Description
President Aria, whose full name is Aria Pokoteng, is the president and official mascot of Aria Company, a small water-guide company in the city of Neo-Venezia on the planet Aqua. He is a male white cat of the native Aqua breed, a type of feline known for being larger than Earth cats and for having intelligence comparable to that of humans. Like the mascots of every water-guide company in the city, he has blue eyes, a trait considered lucky in the industry and the customary qualification for the role of company president. The company itself is named after him.
His background begins about twenty years before the main events of the series, when he was a stray cat taken in by Grandma, who later founded Aria Company. He has remained the company's president and companion ever since, and his long association with the founding of the company makes him a quietly significant figure in its history.
In personality, President Aria is gentle, affectionate, and thoroughly pampered. He is very fond of eating, has a pronounced sweet tooth, and weighs ten kilograms, a considerable weight for a cat, because the women of Aria Company dote on him so much.
