Chinami Nishimura is a Japanese voice actress born on November 18, 1970, in Chiba Prefecture. She is affiliated with the talent agency 81 Produce and has been active in the industry since her debut in the early 1990s.

Nishimura's debut in voice acting came in 1992 with a role in the NHK educational program Children's Puppet Theater. Her first major leading role followed in 1994, when she voiced Nagisa Shiratori in the anime series Chō Kuse ni Narisō. Throughout her career, she has demonstrated significant vocal versatility, frequently voicing young boys, energetic animals, and mythical creatures in addition to human female characters.

She is widely recognized for several long-running and iconic roles. In the Pokémon anime series, she was the primary voice of Officer Jenny for many years and has voiced numerous Pokémon species, including Totodile, Torchic, and Pachirisu. Nishimura is also known for succeeding the role of the titular character Ojarumaru in the long-running series Ojarumaru, a part she took over in 2001. Her other prominent anime roles include Neko Musume in GeGeGe no Kitaro (fourth TV series), President Aria Pokoteng in the Aria series, and Reika Aoki, also known as Cure Beauty, in Smile PreCure!. In the visual novel and anime adaptation of Air, she provided the voice for the character Kanna.
