Ferascal is a Darkus attribute Bakugan with a cat-like appearance, serving as the new Guardian Bakugan of Lightning in Bakugan: Geogan Rising. She is short-tempered, nasty, cheeky, mischievous, and greedy, frequently pulling pranks and mocking others. A unique aspect of her role is the ability to understand and translate Lightning's barks, though she often deliberately mis-translates his communications for her own amusement.

Initially, Ferascal's self-focused and troublesome behavior caused friction with Lightning, as she prioritized her own self-preservation. Over time, she grew more attached to him and learned the value of cooperation, ultimately forming a strong team.

She hails from Junk Island on Vestroia and first arrived on Earth by following the Awesome Brawlers through an unstable gateway. In combat, her known Ability Cards include Whip Attack, Raging Claw, Sight Strike, and Pouncing Shadow Burst.

Ferascal is the first cat-like Bakugan in the franchise. While her function as a translator is shared with previous guardians like Howlkor, Artulean, and Phaedrus, her tendency to mis-translate sets her apart.
