Description
Allison Whittington, later known as Allison Whittington Schultz, undergoes significant change between her teenage years and her appearance as an older adult in the second half of the story. By the time she is thirty-five years old, she has achieved the rank of Captain in the Roxche Air Force, where she works as a highly skilled test pilot for new aircraft. Her full name after marriage is Allison Whittington Schultz, and she is often addressed as Mrs. Schultz or Captain Schultz. She resides with her daughter, Lillia Schultz, in an apartment in the Roxchean capital. Despite the passage of time, she maintains a youthful and beautiful appearance that often leads strangers to mistake her for Lillia's older sister rather than her mother.
As an adult, Allison retains many of the core personality traits she exhibited in her youth. She is still described as having a lively and bright expression, but she continues to be impulsive, reckless, and prone to acting before thinking carefully. Her infamous habit of sleeping late and having difficulty waking up in the morning has persisted to such a degree that her own daughter, Lillia, often has to rouse her. Her personal life remains somewhat untidy, and she has a strong preference for meat in her diet, almost to the point of being a carnivore. However, she maintains her physical condition through rigorous exercise, which has given her a notably toned physique. While she is generally hot-tempered and action-oriented, she also possesses an unexpectedly meticulous and caring side, particularly when it comes to the well-being of her daughter, Lillia.
Allison's motivations in her older years are primarily professional and maternal. Professionally, she is dedicated to her role as a test pilot, pushing aircraft to their limits. In her personal life, her central motivation is protecting her daughter. She continues a relationship with Wilhelm Schultz, Lillia's father, but his identity has been changed due to his work as a secret agent, a role similar to that of Allison's own father. Consequently, Allison keeps Wilhelm's true identity a secret from Lillia, and they date while she hides the truth from their daughter. Her relationships from her past also carry into her present. She is dating a soldier from Bezel named Major Travas. Furthermore, her own father, who was believed to have died in the war, is revealed to be alive and working as a spy. He holds the rank of Major General and serves as the principal of a military academy.
Allison's role in the story during this period is that of a supporting character, though her actions and connections often place her at the center of important events, at times overshadowing the main younger protagonists. Her development from a reckless teenage soldier into a mother and a captain shows a maturation in her responsibilities, yet she charmingly retains her fundamental, untidy nature and fierce spirit. Her notable abilities remain focused on aviation; she is an exceptionally talented pilot with first-class skills in flying fighter planes and using aircraft machine guns. However, her proficiency with general firearms like rifles and pistols is famously poor, a weakness she has not overcome.
