Description
Alv is an S-class ES member and agent of the Galactic Organization of Trade and Tariffs, known as GOTT, who operates as part of a pair with Dvergr. She has silver bobbed hair and blue-green eyes. Her early life was marked by abandonment: her mother, Dvergr, was also an ES member and left her at an adoption center on a distant planet. This absence fostered a deep and lasting anger toward the Nouveless, the ruling noble class Alv held responsible for controlling GOTT and, by extension, for her mother leaving her alone. As a teenager, Alv began to manifest powerful abilities similar to her mother’s, but she struggled to control them, leading to the deaths of many people around her and further isolating her from others. Accused of crimes she did not commit and frequently abused, she began using her powers more openly, which increased the fear others felt and caused her to lose her sense of right and wrong. When her mother finally returned for her and brought her to GOTT, Alv learned to control her abilities but remained furious at the Nouveless system and the organization’s director, Eclipse.

Alv’s personality is defined by arrogance, cruelty, a hunger for power, and a profound disdain for those she considers beneath her. She looks down on lower-ranked ES members and humans without abilities, believing that her mother’s guilt will protect her no matter what she does. She takes pleasure in killing and holds a particularly strong hatred for the ES members Éclair and Tweedledee. Her primary motivation is revenge against the Nouveless, the nobles she believes used her as a puppet and caused her suffering. She secretly pursues her own plans to enact this revenge, biding her time within the GOTT hierarchy. Her relationship with her partner and mother, Dvergr, is central and complex; while Dvergr supports her out of guilt, Alv exploits this dynamic to fuel her own ambitions, and she ultimately abandons Dvergr in her final bid for power.

Alv’s role in the story is that of an antagonist to the protagonists Éclair and Lumière. During a critical attack on GOTT headquarters, she seizes the opportunity to absorb Éclair’s appearance and abilities, killing her in the process. With director Eclipse missing, Alv then takes over as director of GOTT to carry out her plan for revenge. However, after being severely injured in a subsequent defeat by a revived Éclair and Lumière, Alv’s development reaches its extreme conclusion as she integrates with a being named Ducarion as a final, desperate measure, abandoning her mother and attempting to destroy all of humanity. Ultimately, she is defeated by the combined efforts of the ES members, and after this defeat, she is left wandering the universe alongside Dvergr. Alv’s notable ability is an absorption power that can only be used in conjunction with Dvergr. This ability allows her to take on the appearance and abilities of other objects or people, but it has a significant limitation in that the absorbed abilities fade over time.
