Description
Summoned accidentally alongside Sei Takanashi during a ritual intended for a single Saint, Japanese high school student Aira Misono arrives in the Kingdom of Salutania. Crown Prince Kyle Salutania isolates her, mistaking her youthful appearance for that of the Saint. Dependent on his protection and unaware of Sei's existence, Aira possesses short brown hair, medium brown eyes, and delicate features contributing to a "soft and fluffy," approachable demeanor.

Her personality combines shyness, anxiety in unfamiliar situations, and difficulty with self-assertion, leading to reliance on others. Aira deeply values friendship but faces social struggles due to cultural differences between modern Japan and Salutania's medieval society. Unintentional breaches of etiquette—such as interacting with betrothed noblemen—strain relations with peers like Elizabeth Ashley, Kyle's fiancée. Her isolation intensifies after Prince Kyle confines her to limit external influences, exacerbating her feelings of unworthiness.

Aira exhibits the unnatural ability to rapidly improve skills and aptitude for elemental magic, particularly water magic. Initially pressured by Kyle to focus solely on Holy Magic development, she later explores broader magical studies. Unlike Sei, she lacks Saint-specific abilities like enhanced healing efficacy or infinite Holy Magic proficiency.

Her development unfolds significantly after Sei Takanashi is confirmed as the true Saint and Prince Kyle faces confinement for denying Sei's legitimacy. Aira reconciles with peers, forming friendships including with Sei. Graduating from the Royal Academy, she joins the Royal Mage Academy to study magic independently. The spin-off manga *The Saint's Magic Power Is Omnipotent: The Other Saint* details her perspective during these events, highlighting her emotional journey from isolation to self-reliance and clarifying her initial lack of awareness regarding court politics and Sei's activities.

Aira's trajectory shifts from dependence to gradual autonomy, symbolized by her pursuit of magical education and reconciliation of cultural identity. Her surname "Misono" combines "honorable" (御) and "garden" (園), while her given name "Aira" derives from "love/affection" (愛) and "good/virtuous" (良).
