Komaki Sakurai is a seventeen-year-old student at Magami Academy in Tokyo, born on March 22. She serves as the captain of the school's Kyūdō, or Japanese archery, team. She is the best friend of Aoi Misato, and she is fiercely protective of her, often coming to her defense when others speak poorly of her. This loyalty can manifest as a somewhat possessive nature. In contrast to Aoi's gentler demeanor, Komaki is a tomboy with an aggressive streak, particularly toward anyone who threatens or obstructs those she cares about.
