Description
Alzeid is a central character known for his striking appearance as an albino, possessing white hair and red eyes. Despite his albinism, he is able to withstand sunlight without any adverse effects. He is 24 years old and serves as the first traveling companion to the protagonist, Rahzel, joining her on her journey.

Alzeid's background is deeply rooted in an artificial origin; he is a clone of an entity known as Second. He was created and raised in an underground laboratory alongside an older brother, who is also a clone and shares his name. Within this isolated environment, Alzeid regarded Second as his father, though this sentiment was not reciprocated with affection. His upbringing was confined, and he was not permitted to see the sky, a deprivation that significantly shaped his early life. His past also includes a period of military service, during which he formed connections with individuals like Baroqueheat and Soresta.

Initially, Alzeid presents as cold, quiet, and somewhat indifferent. However, as he becomes more comfortable with his companions, he reveals a more loyal and unexpectedly childlike side to his personality. He has a notable fondness for sweets, often putting five teaspoons of sugar into his cocoa or tea, and has a great love for sleep. Conversely, his dislikes include mornings, baths, and vegetables like carrots and green peppers. He is also known to pout when he feels ignored.

His primary motivation at the outset of the story is a quest for revenge. He is searching for a woman with black hair and blue eyes, who he believes is responsible for killing his father, Second. His path becomes intertwined with Rahzel after she declares her intention to make his lousy and boring life more interesting, and he grudgingly accepts her company. Throughout the narrative, Alzeid and Rahzel develop a very deep bond, caring for each other a great deal as they face various challenges together.

Key relationships define much of his role in the story. Besides Rahzel, his primary traveling companion is Baroqueheat, a non-human acquaintance from his past. Despite Baroqueheat's flamboyant and harassing behavior, their shared history creates a complex dynamic. A significant and antagonistic relationship exists with his older clone brother, also named Alzeid. The older brother, who was deemed a failure by Second and replaced, harbors a deep grudge and possesses magical abilities that far surpass those of Alzeid. This brother is closely associated with the mysterious figure Kiara.

Alzeid demonstrates notable abilities, most prominently incredible physical strength, which allows him to bend steel and rock with ease. He also possesses regenerative powers, enabling him to recover from injuries. As the story progresses, particularly in the manga source material, his character develops beyond his initial cold demeanor, further exploring the emotional consequences of his artificial creation and his quest for identity and revenge.
