MirageGaogamon is the Mega-level form of Gaomon, the partner Digimon of Thomas H. Norstein in the anime Digimon: Data Squad. It is classified as a Beast Knight Digimon, a category that reflects its armoured, humanoid-wolf appearance and its fighting style that blends speed with powerful, precise strikes. Its entire body is clad in Chrome Digizoid armor, a legendary metal that grants immense durability. The name and concept of MirageGaogamon derive from its signature ability: it can move at such extraordinary speed that enemies perceive only an afterimage, as if the Digimon itself is a mirage.
