Description
Haru Arisugawa, alias Pink Gelato, operates as a member of the heroic Gelato 5. Her youth involved an attack by thugs, thwarted when Desumi Magahara intervened and advised her to grow stronger. This encounter, coupled with her admiration for Gelato 5’s leader Fudo Aikawa, motivated her to join the team.

Energetic and bright by nature, she actively engages in battles despite her recent induction—serving roughly six months upon introduction. She exhibits determination and occasional impulsiveness, particularly concerning Fudo.

Her development pivots on discovering Fudo’s secret romance with Desumi, the Reaper Princess of the antagonistic Gekko organization. After inviting Fudo to a café to confront him about a photograph of him with an unidentified girl—yet hesitating to address it—she later witnessed Fudo and Desumi together in civilian attire, confirming their relationship. Challenging Desumi to a fight, Haru was decisively defeated. During this clash, she revealed Desumi’s past rescue of her and declared her inability to sabotage their bond, acknowledging their genuine happiness. This realization cemented her commitment to prioritize their well-being over her own feelings for Fudo.

Following this shift, Haru shielded the couple’s secret from teammates and engineered diversions to grant them privacy. Examples include preventing Hayato Ojino from interrupting Fudo during a mission where he met Desumi, and consuming food intended for Fudo in a hospital to ensure Desumi remained the first to feed him during recovery. These actions transitioned her from romantic rival to protective ally.

Her background connection to Desumi forged a complex dynamic, balancing gratitude toward Desumi against romantic feelings for Fudo. Despite this tension, she consistently chose to support both, underscoring her dedication to their happiness over personal desires. Her narrative trajectory concludes with her pursuing a career as a Boys-Love artist, fulfilling an aspiration beyond hero duties.
