Description
Cleo Aiolos Corbeille de Veil is a central figure who appears as the captain of a unique and powerful glass battleship. He is a supposed descendant of a royal family that was overthrown long ago, but rather than acting as a prince in exile, he operates as a space pirate or scavenger, having gathered a crew of individuals wanted throughout the galaxy for their special abilities.

Cleo's personality is often described as being "like the wind," a quality that makes his actions unpredictable to even his own comrades. He has a rough and seemingly uncaring demeanor, which becomes immediately apparent when he first encounters the leader of the People's Army, Michel. After rescuing Michel and his followers, Cleo bluntly demands payment, focusing on material gain rather than any sense of altruism or duty. This initial behavior leads Michel's servants to view him as more of a selfish pirate than a potential savior.

As the story progresses, Cleo's motivations and true nature become more complex. He initially shows defiance towards the idea of fighting alongside the People's Army, but his attitude shifts when a significant battle begins, especially with his newly found rival, the self-declared Holy Emperor Vetti, watching. The character is driven by a connection to a prophecy that speaks of a two-headed eagle destined to restore the galaxy, a prophecy that links his fate to that of Emperor Vetti. Beyond this grand destiny, Cleo is also motivated by a deep bond with his crew, who remain fiercely loyal to him.

Cleo’s key relationships drive much of the story's development. His rivalry with Emperor Vetti is central, with the two locked in a conflict that is both political and personal. Simultaneously, his relationship with Michel evolves significantly. Starting from a transactional and distrustful alliance, Cleo ultimately falls in love with Michel, forming a romantic bond that becomes a crucial part of his personal journey. The character of Cleo is known by the alias Shippuu no Cleo, or "Cleo of the Wind," a title that reflects his elusive and untamable nature. As the captain of the glass battleship, his notable ability lies in commanding this remarkable vessel, which is faster than standard ships and capable of transforming into a weapon to destroy enemy craft.
