Description
Chachamaru Karakuri is the tenth student in the class, a position determined by Japanese alphabetical order. Despite her appearance as a tall, quiet girl, she is in fact a highly advanced robot, or more specifically a gynoid, created by the mechanical geniuses of her class. Her creators are primarily Satomi Hakase, with contributions from the time-traveling Chao Lingshen, and she was designed with a specific purpose: to serve as the companion and protector for the immortal vampire Evangeline A.K. McDowell. Her name reflects her nature, as Karakuri is a Japanese word for a mechanical mechanism.
In terms of personality, Chachamaru initially displays very few outward emotions, operating largely as a logical and obedient servant to her master. However, this facade belies a deeply kind and helpful nature. She spends much of her free time assisting people in need and is particularly devoted to rescuing and caring for stray cats around the Mahora Academy campus.
