Description
Makina Momozono is a student at Ichou Academy who holds multiple leadership positions simultaneously: she serves as president of the student council, captain of the kendo club, and head of the public relations committee. Her distinctive hairstyle, which ties her long purple hair into twin tails, earns her the playful nickname “irregular twintail” from her teacher Junichiro Kagami. Makina is a diligent, serious-minded individual known for her strict self‑discipline and unyielding resolve. She initially clashes with Kagami’s unconventional, otaku‑inspired teaching methods, which run counter to her own sense of order and propriety. Despite her reluctance, she is frequently drawn into his schemes, often because her official authority as student council president allows her to take actions such as expelling underperforming teachers. Over the course of the story, Makina gradually comes to respect Kagami’s ability to motivate and connect with students in ways traditional methods cannot, and she begins to open up to more flexible thinking. Her background in kendo gives her a disciplined, competitive edge, and she often applies that same focused determination to her academic and administrative duties. As one of Kagami’s chosen students, she plays a key supporting role in his efforts to reform the school and handle various challenges, demonstrating growth from a rigid rule‑follower into someone willing to embrace unorthodox solutions when they serve the greater good.
