Description
Okiku, whose real name is Otsuru, is a supporting character in the anime Afro Samurai. She appears as a young woman who lives quietly at an inn and takes in the gravely wounded Afro, nursing him back to health after he collapses near a riverbank. Flashbacks reveal that she trained alongside Afro as a child at the same samurai school, making her one of the few figures from his past who treats him with genuine warmth rather than hostility.
